In Q2 2019 Panther established a gold project portfolio in Australia's Northern Territory.

The portfolio comprises the Marrakai and the Annaburroo Gold Project Areas located to the southeast of Darwin. The projects have been applied for directly with the Department of Mines and Energy giving Panther and its shareholders low cost of entry to projects, whilst enabling the Company to significantly increase its gold portfolio in the short to medium term.

The Marrakai Gold Project

Project Overview

Area: 13.4km2
Location: 70km southeast of Darwin

The Marrakai Gold Project Exploration licence application covers an area of 13.4km2 and contains a series of gold prospects and geochemical anomalies. The project is located near infrastructure with operational gold projects located approximately 18km away.  Within the vicinity is the  high-grade Toms Gully underground mine containing 1.1Mt @ 8.9 g/tAu.  Nearby Rustlers Roost is one of the largest gold projects in the region containing 51MT @1.0 g/t Au (1.6 Moz).

Highlights

Historical area recorded of over 500 ounces of gold nuggets, the largest of which was 30 ounces.
Previous drilling provided intercepts including 2m @ 9.32 g/t Au and  2m @ 5.74 g/t Au.
Steves Hill, Chins Gully, Johns Flat and Jasons Rise, occur within the Project along a topographically low ridge which trends NE-SW across and outside the licence over an area of 7km.
Coarse gold identified in surface outcrop and sub-crop occurring over at least 3km of strike within the licence.
Peak rock-chip grade of 50.1 g/t Au recorded from the Johns Flat prospect

The Annaburroo Gold Project

Project Overview

Area: 150km2
Location: 105km southeast of Darwin

The Annaburroo Gold Project covers an area of 150km2 and is located 105km to the southeast of Darwin.

Highlights

The licence is located in the highly-prospective Pine Creek Orogen and contains highly prospective structural targets and gold geochemical anomalies.
Newmont Australia identified the Donkey Hill prospect which yielded 61.2 g/t Au and 50.8 g/t Au from grab samples and 5m @ 6.68 g/t Au in trenching.
Limited previous drilling at Donkey Hill provided near surface intercepts including 2m @ 3.10 g/t Au.
